BudgetingA key difference in a “consumer of energy” versus an effective energy manager is the ability to understand forecast and plan for energy related expenses based on past usage, facility performance and planned initiatives. Interval Data ReportingThe deployment of smart-meters (advanced energy metering) has enabled accurate viewing of energy usage at smaller increments of time, such as 15 minute intervals. Metric-Based ValidationMetric-based validation is a review, based on a standard set of rules, of invoices to identify variances in cost, usage, demand and other bill components. It is a critical component of an effective energy management program. The system alerts our analysts of variances that are outside of specified tolerance levels. Our validation uses more than 25 points of inspection. |
Invoice VerificationWe provide invoice verification and expanded audit services. With these services, all invoices are scanned, verified, and recalculated against contracts and tariff with all relevant data points confirmed. Our bill verification services may be applied enterprise wide, or for only specified meters, and utilizes the current applicable tariff for each account to recalculate the invoice to ensure that all charges are correct.
